Geomats are three-dimensional, open-mesh geosynthetic materials used for erosion control, plant growth promotion and soil stabilization. They are usually made of polypropylene or polyester fibers and integrate with the natural ground, preventing soil loss due to water flow, wind or mechanical influences.
